BUSINESS CYCLES

Utilizing JIRA and Rally Agile systems to manage two-week iteration cycles, overseeing tasks from branch creation to production deployment for the DanyOne website, iOS & Android apps, and 10ft app on the App Store and Play Store. Conducting daily story and defect testing within the Agile framework, targeting various environments with multiple backend configurations as per testing requirements.

TESTING CYCLES

Within the two-week iteration cycles, Katalon Studio automation software is utilized to conduct functional, regression, and smoke testing of the DanyOne mobile apps and website before production deployments. This frontend automation testing includes verifying middleware API responses to ensure frontend metadata stability across all platforms. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining automation test cases, test suites, and object libraries, as well as reporting to management and developers. Additionally, manual testing principles are applied for unit, integration, performance, and end-to-end testing within the same two-week iteration cycle.

SYSTEMS INTEGRATION & CODE BASES

Utilize Jenkins to initiate Katalon test suites and Bitrise to start remote mobile regression test suites on BrowserStack App Automate using custom remote desired capabilities. Conduct in-house device testing with Appium Server while simultaneously testing the web frontend. All failed reports are sent via Slack and email to both management and developers. Katalon leverages Selenium, Appium, and Java/Groovy and JavaScript code bases.

Manual

TEST CASES, TESTING, REPORTING

The accidental deletion of Rally test cases by management, coupled with issues in the standalone test case management system, prompted a reevaluation of manual test case solutions. As a result, a Google Sheets manual regression workbook was created, developed, and coded. This workbook includes branch and hash management per iteration, go/no-go decisions based on test case results, and automatic reporting to management and developers. It also encompasses a test case framework and test case writing. Additionally, a Google Sheets scheduling system with Slack integration and an analytics reporting tool based on regression results was developed.
